Ghana's Energy Minister John Abdulai Jinapor stated that Kumasi is positioned to become a major industrial energy hub through government-backed power generation projects in the Ashanti Region expected to produce more than 1,000 megawatts. The projects are intended to boost electricity supply, support industrialization, and strengthen the country's energy infrastructure.
