Lucasfilm and Disney are releasing a Star Wars film centered on the characters Din Djarin (the Mandalorian) and Grogu, continuing their story from the Disney+ series. The film will be shot for IMAX format and features new cast members including Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White, with director Jon Favreau and co-writer Dave Filoni returning from the television series.
