An Argentine court has accepted a government request to suspend implementation of a university funding law until the Supreme Court issues a final ruling on the matter.

Argentina's government announced it will provide supplies and technical assistance to countries affected by a hantavirus outbreak linked to the MV Hondius cruise ship, which departed from the port of Ushuaia on April 1. The Argentine health authorities have made hantavirus testing available to support the international response.
