Cinema concerts return to Transilvania Film Festival 2026 in Cluj-Napoca Live cinema concerts will once again take center stage at the 25th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), bringing new musical interpretations to three films from different eras and styles. The program blends Romanian, Nordic, and French cinema with contemporary live performances, offering audiences a reimagined viewing experience, the organizers said. The festival, set to take place between June 12 and 21 in Cluj-Napoca, will feature three titles in its cinema concert lineup: Meanders , Beyond Sleep , and Paris Asleep .

The 25th Anifilm International Animated Film Festival will take place in Liberec from May 5 to 10 and is now presenting its program this year, which will once again offer the best of contemporary world and Czech animated work. The international competition will bring the most interesting and latest from world animation in eight categories - from feature films to short films and computer games to virtual reality, and almost all contemporary Czech work will meet in the Czech Horizon competition.
