The Kennedy Center in Washington ordered staff to remove US President Donald Trump’s name from ‌the institution to comply with a federal court ruling, according to two people familiar with the directive.

Ohio Representative Joyce Beatty won a federal lawsuit against the Trump administration and a self-appointed Kennedy Center board, reversing a renaming of the institution and blocking its closure. Beatty is one of 23 ex officio Congressional members of the Kennedy Center board.
