In the Efeler district of Aydın, 16-year-old Ahmet Akdeniz, who went missing in a stream he entered to cool off and was pulled out of the water by teams sent to the area, died at the hospital he was taken to. An investigation into the incident has been launched.

Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğü, 9 Haziran Salı gününe ilişkin hava durumu raporunu yayımladı. Rapora göre; bugün öğle saatlerinden sonra Akdeniz'in iç kesimleri ile Afyonkarahisar çevrelerinde kuvvetli yağış bekleniyor. Çok sayıda il için de yerel sağanak ve gök gürültülü sağanak yağışlı uyarısı yapıldı.
